Was born in Hospital Endell St LondonWorked for a builders in Green Street East London. During the War was an A R P and designed a tool for dealing with Incendury bombs which was copied and widely used. After the war worked for a company in Welwyn Garden City and cycled there 6 days a week from Dagenham! Is buried in plot 172 Section 'v' of Rippleside Cemetery Barking. He died at 117 Suttons Lane Hornchurch.
